Ford Kenya Party Leader Moses Wetangula and Amani National Congress (ANC) head Musalia Mudavadi held their first meeting since the Luhya Community appointed the latter as spokesperson.
The two leaders are said to have held a meeting on Monday at an undisclosed Karen Hotel and agreed to work together as the opposition seeks to dethrone President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto from power in the next general elections.
The meeting is the first since the Luhya community declared Mudavadi spokesperson.
Multiple sources close to the two opposition leaders have confirmed that the duo met for close to two hour although the details of the meeting remain scanty.
According to reports by the Star, the leaders agreed to hold their first rally at Musalia's backyard in Vihiga County as the next general election draws closer.
It is also said they spoke about issues pertaining their tours in different parts of the country including Bungoma.
"Musalia briefed Wetang'ula on his recent Bungoma visit, and Wetangula also briefed him on his campaign programs," the source said, as quoted by the Star.
