A gang of four killed by police in Warri which is in Delta State-Nigeria (photos)

The gang was reportedly shot dead on Monday by the police, around the Ajamimogha area of Warri, after trying to steal N126,000 from a man.

They had engaged the police patrol team from A’ Division, Warri, in a gun battle.

The gunmen however ran out of luck when one of the bullets from the patrol team hit the Volkswagen car, which they were escaping with, making it to lose control before it rammed into a pole.

One of the suspected armed robbers Is Ovie is said to be known for kidnapping, rapping and armed robbery in Warri. The gunmen were trailing another man who had just gone to collect money from the bank, when, the patrol team discreetly traced them until they opened fire on the police vehicle.
