Here’s how to do glam smoky eyes perfectly

There’s nothing like a smouldering smoky eye to addinstant oomph to your night look. Couple it with heavy brows, illuminated skin and pink lips to up your glam quotient as you head out to paint the town red.

To get this look, scrub your skin with a gentle exfoliator to cleanse it of all the dirt hiding in the pores. Use an illuminating serum to add some strategic shine. Add on a layer of foundation to create a smooth canvas, and hide any blemishes or dark spots with a concealer. Swipe liquid highlighter across your cheekbones. To start off, use an eyelid primer to ensure that your eye makeup stays on for hours. Apply a plum eyeshadow with red tones above your eyelids’ crease line, and apply a black matte eyeshadow below it. Blend well. Make sure to cover the inner corners of your eyes with the black shadow as well. Line your waterline with kohl, and trace some black eyeshadow on your lower lash line to smoke the harsh line. Apply a tinted lip balm in pink for a soft and focused shine. Use some hair gel for a wet finish. Create a deep side part and comb your hair into a low side bun. Twist it to keep it in place. Secure any loose ends with bobby pins, hiding them away within the bun. Use a setting spray to tame flyways.
