Angelina Jolie's beloved brother whisked her children away to a park just hours before she filed for divorce from Brad Pitt.

James Haven was pictured enjoying a day out with the kids on Sunday, the day before she confirmed the shock split.

James, 43, took the couple’s biological children, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox, to a park in Los Angeles.

The group were pictured playing basketball and sat together at a picnic table, dressed in casual jeans a T shirts.

According to reports, James became a 'full-time nanny' for Angelina and Brad's six children in July, taking on chief responsibility of caring for the children.

He was previously been spotted accompanying Angelina and the kids to Cambodia, where she was shooting a movie.

James - who gained headlines in 2000 when he accompanied his superstar sister to the Oscars and they shared a kiss on the lips - failed to raise a smile as he cared for the kids, wearing a flat cap and sunglasses.

Angelina, 41, filed for divorce from Brad, 52 on Monday, citing irreconcilable differences and asking for sole physical custody of their children.
