Two teenagers were electrocuted after hanging wet clothes on a live wire in Eldoret. They were killed instantly after they touched the clothing line, which happened to be in contact with a live wire.
The boy’s father, Cornelius Okello, lamented on the incompetency of lighting companies to be leaving electricity lines hanging loosely where children are most likely to come into contact with them at one point.
"It seems the technicians could have left a naked wire which was in contact with the clothes line. It is sad to lose such young boys," The distraught Okello said.
