QUESTION:
I am a 27-year-old married woman. I’ve been
sexually active for the last four years and have had a total of three
sexual partners in my life. I got married four years ago, and have been
very happy with my husband since. Over the years, I’ve noticed that my
vagina doesn’t feel as tight as it used to. I’ve been doing Kegel
exercises for the last six months, but haven’t quite felt any noticeable
difference. I’m currently contemplating using a vaginal tightening
cream to help my case. I came across a cream called Lady Secret Serum.
Could you tell me if there are any side effects to using a vaginal
tightening serum, and if you’re aware of this particular one, its
specific side effects?

I’m unaware of any creams or ointments that have
proven to be foolproof in tightening the vaginal muscles. Kegels, when
practised properly, are definitely useful—just remember that after
releasing the contraction, you need to relax for a while before you do
another one. For example, after contracting, if you’re holding the
muscles for five seconds, you need to relax for the same amount of time
after releasing it. This needs to be practised 10-20 times in the
morning and evening for at least 8-12 weeks. If the results still aren’t
good, consult a gynaecologist for vaginal repair.
