Fred Matiang'i, the Cabinet Secretary for Education has tabled a list of top schools that have been doing well via exam cheating in order to top the national exams and attract more students. To the surprise of many, this schools topped this year's national exams.
Here is the list of the schools, the number of candidates they registered in their top centres and the mean score:
1. Makini Academy, Ngong Road, Nairobi - 21 students, 419 mean score.
2. Newlight Academy, Komarock - 21 students, 410 mean score
3. Gilgil Hills Academy - 23 students, 405 mean score
4. Lizar Junior School Nairobi - 70 students, 404 mean score
5. Marell Academy, Bungoma - 22 students, 402 mean score
6. Chelsea Academy, Bomet - 28 students, 402 mean score
7. Fred's Academy, Imenti North - 44 students, 400 mean score
8. Al-Ansaaru Nursery and Primary, Kamukunji - 24 students, 400 mean score
9. Precious Hope, Kisii South - 22 students, 399 mean score
10. Highrise Academy, Bureti - 16 students, 398 mean score
11. Elimu Academy, Kisii Central
12. Momokoro Academy, Kuria West
