Elgeyo-Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen claims that opposition Leader Raila Odinga wanted Deputy President William Ruto jailed prior to 2013 polls.
Ruto was Raila’s Deputy in Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party before the duo fallout just moments to 2013 polls.

In another fiery exchange between the opposition and government bon Wednesday, Murkomen questioned Raila’s ability to work cohesively with other politicians.
“I am now vindicated because it is evident that Raila Odinga wanted Ruto jailed at the ICC in 2013 so that he could scoop Rift Valley votes with ease but through God’s miracle, it did not happen,” he said.
“The country has moved on but he keeps on reminding us of where we have come from. He is such a leader who cannot work harmoniously with others without being chaotic,” added Murkomen.
On Tuesday, Odinga accused Jubilee government of allegedly plotting to pull out of the International Criminal Court (ICC) as a wider plan to rig 2017 elections.
