Will Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift come face to face for the first time after messy split at Emmy Awards?

Both stars are reportedly expected to attend the awards ceremony on Sunday night

Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston could come face-to-face for the first time after their messy split at the Emmys on Sunday night.

The former couple, who went public in June after Taylor's split from boyfriend of one-year Calvin Harris, broke up earlier this month and since then it's got quite messy.
It will be a big night for Tom, who is up for the Best Actor award for his part in hit drama The Night Manager.

But now it's been claimed that Taylor is also on the guest list for the Emmys and his pals are allegedly hoping that the night is not spoiled by the former couple running into each other.

“Taylor is still on the guest list. But everyone on Team Tom is hoping and praying she’ll do the decent thing and stay at home and watch it on TV for his sake,” a source told Daily Star Sunday.

“He is still shellshocked over their split and just setting eyes on her could send him into a tailspin.”

It has been claimed that the Emmys team are working hard to make sure the pair stay clear of each other.
Earlier this month, it was claimed that the British actor dumped Taylor because he's a 'commitment-phobe' and “grew tired of her”.

Sources close to Taylor have claimed that Tom was 'fame-hungry', but now sources close to the 35-year-old Night Manager star have claimed that he actually got bored.

“He grew tired of Taylor, it wasn't the other way round,” a theatre producer has reportedly told Heat Street.
The pair worked together on Coriolanus, and according to the source Taylor didn't make the “three month rule”.

Tom, who has been busy with a hectic schedule for Thor: Ragnarok in Australia, was said to have split with Taylor because she allegedly refused to join him on the red carpet at the Emmy Awards later this month.

It's also been alleged that Tom and Taylor 'drifted' apart as their hectic schedules saw them go from an intense whirlwind romance to one via the phone.

“It’s more to do with the fact he’s a commitment-phobe who gets bored very easily,” the insider claimed.
After such a public display of affection moments into dating, Taylor and Tom broke up.

With the Night Manager actor wearing a 'I heart T.S.' shirt less than a month after they were together, it had been thought that the next stop was the altar, however it wasn't meant to be as they have now gone their separate ways.
It was also claimed that Taylor and Tom split over her refusal to join him on the red carpet at the Emmy TV awards.
