It is nearly a month since Turkana county held a cultural festival dubbed 'Tobongloree'.
CORD machinery toured the county and made their presence felt. Opposition has for a long time enjoyed massive support from this region but its seems the region has taken a u-turn. A delegation from the county led by the senator, John Munyes has met the deputy president William Ruto.
DP Ruto has in the past claimed responsibility for engineering massive exodus of luhya politicians from CORD. Seemingly we are yet to see how this meeting will affect Turkana County.
Turkana governor, Josephat Nanok, must be a troubled man considering this new tide and turbulence for being the only one from opposition in this region.
Raila will cry. Nevertheless, should the opposition be worried of this new twist?
