While addressing residents in Cherangany presidential adviser Joshua Kutuny said he will resign in February next year as he seeks to reclaim his Cherangany Parliamentary seat.
He also thanked the president for giving him the opportunity to serve Kenyans as a member of his adviser.
He said:
“When we campaigned in 2013, we were facing a lot of challenges. In fact many people were skeptical that President Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto would ascend to power. Today I am very proud that we not only clinched the Presidency but have also performed to the expectations of Kenyans.”
“With the support you have shown me, I am confident that I am going to win back my seat."
The cherangany race is going tobe tough as the now MP Wesley Korir has recently decamped to Jubilee with the Party primaries expected to be the climax of the Parliamentary contest in the area.
